Ron Turchyniak holds a masters degree in biomechanics and is a Pedagogical Consultant at the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board. His focus is on educational and assistive technology and his mission is to support and inspire educators through the promotion of collaboration, innovation and engaging pedagogical practices. Ron works closely with classroom teachers and strives to achieve best practices for technology integration in teaching and learning. In the last five years, he has been at the forefront of deploying and managing Google Apps for Education (G Suite) at his school board. Ron’s brings the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach to visits with teachers and classrooms. In his keynote at the QFHSA AGM, Ron will highlight the successes and challenges of this continuous work with teachers, school board, and province. |
